Shiwali & Karan wed in a scenic sunset wedding in Planet Hollywood Beach Resort, Goa, and everything about their special day was absolutely magical. Sagan:
The festivities started with a sagan and sangeet ceremony. Sagan is an important part of the Punjabi wedding traditions and includes the groom’s family presenting gifts (clothes, jewelery, cash, etc.) to the bride and the groom and the groom’s family receiving gifts from the bride’s side of the family too. For the event, Shiwali wore a beige gown with minimal accessories and Karan wore a 3-piece suit to complement the bride’s attire.
Mehendi:
Next up was the mehendi day for which the bride donned a mehendi green lehenga with a tube blouse and kundan jewelery embellished with colored stones to match the boho vibes of her dress. Beauty-wise, she went for minimal attributes with hair tied in soft waves and dewy makeup accented by blush pink lips and light bridal eye makeup.
Haldi:
Next up was the haldi day for which Shiwali was seen in a vibrant outfit comprising of bright red and yellow colors! She paired the lehenga with a sexy blouse design and a sheeshpatti for a breezy look. Karan, on the other hand, was seen in a yellow kurta for the occasion which was an ideal attire when you know you’d be drenched in things such as beer and eggs during the event.
Wedding:
Karan & Shiwali’s Goa destination wedding at Planet Hollywood beach resort saw some gorgeous sunset wedding pictures and underscored why golden hour portraits are worth all the hype and attention. For their special moment, the bride and groom were seen in traditional red and ivory outfits. Shiwali wore a red lehenga with intricate golden work and styled it with kundan jewelry, soft bridal makeup, and a bun with soft tendrils on both sides.
