The pandemic couldn’t stop our favorite celebrity couples from tying the knot. Just after the lockdown, we witnessed magical celebrations of Rana Daggubati & Miheeka, then Kajal Aggarwal & Gautam Kitchlu and Neha Kakkar & Rohanpreet Singh followed suit, and just recently, Gauahar Khan & Zaid Darbar wedding took over the social media. Celebrity nuptials always leave us with plenty of inspiration and are followed by brides for years to come. Take, for example, Deepika’s ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhavah’ dupatta, Anushka’s pastel pink lehenga hue, or Priyanka’s all-red lehenga, which are all still in vogue.
And inspiration from the recent celeb weddings is showing their way into bridal trousseau too. Miheeka’s seashell mehndi jewelry has been a hit in the wedding market and so has Kajal’s effortless bridal outfits. From Neha’s wedding, it’s her effortless printed mehendi lehenga by Anita Dongre that inspired brides the most. Considering, she herself got inspiration from Priyanka’s and Anushka’s outfits for her wedding, her mehendi outfit was the only unique aspect in her bridal trousseau.
Recently, a Mumbai-based bride, Jessica Sanghvi, opted for the same emerald green Anita Dongre for one of her wedding functions. She changed the styling though and for all the brides looking to wear the same lehenga with their own personalized touch, this bride is a true inspiration.
Starting off with her noteworthy lehenga dupatta draping style. She wore the dupatta right below her shoulders – a halfway style between the cape and the elbow. As for her jewelry, it was a mix of floral and kundan-pearl pieces. Sanghvi teamed her attire with fresh floral kalire that her makeup artist Shradha got specially made for her. The statement kundan-pearl earrings you spot were made by her family jeweler and for a change, she completely skipped the necklace in her ensemble.
Jessica chose Shradha Luthra as her MUA, so no doubt her makeup was flawless and on-point. Luthra gave her a dewy base with natural blush eye makeup, rosy cheeks, and nude lips. A perfect combination for her graceful look. At last, the captivating portraits by Israni Photography were like a cherry on the top. The beautiful moments of the ceremony were captured perfectly and we certainly can’t get enough of her snaps.
