All eyes are on the bride. True. But as the sister of the bride, you’ll be in the peripheral vision quite a lot too. After all, you’re her bridesmaid from birth and that will take a lot of lingering around the bride throughout the planning process and on the wedding revelries. The aunties’ eyes (as the next eligible bachelorette) would be on you, but so will be the photographer’s lens quite frequently. The latter is an advantageous one: definitely can’t say the same for the former.
Anyways, coming to the point, you’ll be a highlight at the wedding and there’s no other happy occasion when playing dress-up would seem more appropriate. Himadri Patel, recent bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding and popular makeup vlogger is winning hearts with her elegant, effortless, and budget looks and we have listed them all in this blog. Scroll to see them all! An estimated price range is included too!
Mehendi
Himadri’s sister, Bhanu Priya’s wedding was held at the scenic Riverstone Cottages in Dehradun. The hills stations’ natural beauty served as the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and all the images. To kick off the celebrations, the first day was reserved for Mehendi & Sangeet celebrations. Patel donned an ethereal golden yellow Anarkali for the event and styled it with kundan choker and chandbali earrings. Being a makeup influencer, Himandri’s makeup for each and every event was on-point and you can draw oodles of inspiration from it. So, to complete the look, she opted for a dewy base, kohled eyes, and a dark brown lip.
Price Estimate: ~ Rs.46,000/-. Buy here.
Sangeet
After the mehendi ceremony in the morning, a sangeet night was scheduled at the night. Himadri changed into a beautiful monochrome red set by Bunaai for the event slightly embellished with sequins. Keeping in line with the simplicity of her outfit, she kept her jewellery minimal and only wore a pair of dangler earrings with the lehenga set. The night was all about rocking performances, hearty laughs, and a few emotional tears.
Price Estimate: ~ Rs.15,500/-. Buy this lehenga set here.

Haldi
Next up was the fun-loving Haldi event. Channeling her love for Anarkalis, Himadri wore a gorgeous sunny yellow anarkali for the Haldi and went minimal with her hair, makeup, and jewelry. A good idea, because along with the bride, she wasn’t spared getting lathered on with the ubtan as well. Take a look at the pictures.
Price Estimate: ~ Rs.7,000/-. Unfortunately, it’s out of stock on Bunaai.

After Haldi
After the Haldi fun Patel clothed herself in a sea green anarkali with a yellow dupatta. She purchased the material and got it stitched; no wonders it fits her well. To top off, she just wore a pair of earrings, left her face with bare minimum makeup, and left her hair loose. If you’ve got an intimate wedding event coming up, this is an amazing inspiration to bookmark.

Wedding
Saree’s grace enraptures all Indian women and it certainly makes a befitting choice for a bridesmaid dress. On the D-Day, Himadri wore a winsome pastel green saree intricately embellished with silver work all over. But the focal point of her look was the strappy blouse design with a backless blouse to create a flirty peek-a-boo effect. A glowy nude makeup and wavy hair made for her beauty look. For bridesmaids-to-be, outfit inspiration doesn’t get any better than this.
Price Estimate: ~ Rs.35,000/-
