The latest Bollywood couple to tie the knot are Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor. The duo tied the knot in a close-knit ceremony with just 30 guests in attendance. The ceremony took place at Ranbir Kapoor’s home Vastu, an apartment building where Alia Bhatt also owns a flat. When the first pictures were released, everyone was in awe of Alia Bhatt’s refreshing minimal look in ivory. Straying away from the usual reds and heavy lehengas, she opted for an organza white saree customized by Sabyasachi. However, that wasn’t the only customized beauty she was wearing that day. The ring features a huge hexagonal-shaped solitaire diamond in the middle and a diamond-encrusted band. The band has 8 diamonds – which is Kapoor’s lucky number. The carats and the exact price of the engagement haven’t been released or reported yet. But Van Cleef & Arpels’ engagement ring averages out at ~ 20 lakhs. The upper limit is 3.5 crores. Given the size of the engagement ring, Alia Bhatt’s diamond ring will definitely be more than a crore.
