The guests made their way to Alia & Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding on the 13th of April & 14th of April and we couldn’t help but stare at some of the most gorgeous wedding guests’ looks. Kareena Kapoor
Kareena’s always the one to dazzle everyone with her unique sartorial choices. Her brother’s wedding was going to be no different. For the mehendi function, Kapoor opted for a pristine ivory lehenga by her trusted designer and long-time friend, Manish Malhotra. The lehenga was replete with sequin work and a smart play of pastel colors throughout. A sleeveless blouse and sequin-encrusted dupatta complete the resplendent lehenga skirt. A diamond necklace set complimented the star’s elegant ensemble beautifully.
For the D-Day, Khan choose another Manish Malhotra creation: this time an organza saree bejeweled with intricate embroidery on the sides. Makeup maestro Mickey Contractor gave the actress a simplistic makeup look (his classic clean face, accentuated eyes, and nude lips). For jewelry, she opted for a multi-string Kundan & pearl necklace set along with a minimal maangtikka. Saif Ali Khan also made an appearance alongside the star in an ivory & pink kurta pajama set. The couple attended the wedding with their sons, Taimur and Jehangir, who looked adorable in kurtas.
Karisma Kapoor
Next up on the line is Karisma Kapoor, someone who rightfully proves that age is just a number, oftentimes giving strong competition to the young generation with her fitness, grace, and youthful personality. On the mehendi day, Karishma accompanied Kareena while entering & leaving the wedding venue. And while the younger one shone in a sequin lehenga, Karisma opted for a heavy mustard yellow Anarkali for the event. The chanderi ensemble is designed by Punit Balana and has marodi work on the kurta and gota jaal embroidery on the dupatta. For accessorizing, she picked a potli bag, maangtikka, and a pair of jhumkas. On the wedding day, the 47-year-old actress opted for an ivory saree with colorful work and an orange blouse. She paired the attire with chandbali earrings, a low bun, dewy makeup with kohled eyes, and an encrusted hairband.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahani
Groom’s sister, Ridhima (who’s a Delhi resident), arrived with her husband Bharat Sahani and daughter Samaira just 2 days before the revelries commenced. She wore the famed Manish Malhotra sequinned saree in silver for mehendi and paired the saree with a polki & pearl necklace set. Her smart beauty picks for the day are as follows: contoured face, nudish pink lips, and swept-back straight locks. On the wedding day, she made heads-turn in a beige Abu Jani Sandeep lehenga embellished with beads, pearls, and sequins. Chunky emerald and Kundan jewels, a pair of bangles, and a bronze clutch were her choice of accessories for the D-Day. To glam up, she opted for kohl-rimmed eyes, a low bun, and glossy nude lips. In the morning, she wore an ivory kurta set with multi-colored embroidery and was papped while leaving the early morning ceremony along with her mother Neetu Kapoor, whose attire picks are portrayed next on the list.
Neetu Kapoor
The groom’s mother serves for timeless Indian attire choices. For Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor’s mehendi, Neetu Kapoor wore an ivory lehenga replete with riotous floral motifs. The fuss-free lehenga with vibrant colors makes for a smart choice for summer weddings. To amp up the ensemble, the veteran actor gravitated toward heirloom jewelry and wore a polki jewelry set. She pleated the saree’s pallu on the front smartly so as to exhibit the intricate embroidery whilst channeling a traditional element with her attire pick. While colors were a small part of Kapoor’s mehendi look, she made it the center stage for her son’s wedding look. Picking an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s creation yet again, the mother-of-the-groom stunned in a colorful lehenga with a long blouse. She picked yet another heirloom piece for the wedding day and beauty-wise went for a low-bun, smokey eyes, and nude lips.
Soni Razdan & Shaheen Bhatt
While we didn’t get a full glimpse of Soni Razdan or Shaheen Bhatt as they were only captured in her car arriving and departing. The bride’s mother wore gorgeous sarees for both events – one by Manish Malhotra, while for the wedding it seems like she was wearing Sabyasachi – although, we aren’t quite sure. The sister-of-the-bride was seen wearing anarkalis for all three events.
