The husband-wife designer duo has always believed in creating an outfit that’s luxurious, has a touch of traditional Indian craftsmanship, and gives brides a unique style to carry.
Couple’s Rise To Fame:
Rimple and Harpreet were both studying at Delhi University, where they first met and fell in love. Soon after they tied the knot and launched their own label in the year 2000. It was a slowly rising curve for the couple, but they soon became quite popular in Delhi & earned the status of most recommended bridal couture shops in the city. Meanwhile, they were also showcasing their collection at various fashion shows all over India.
They finally got their big break when they designed Deepika’s outfits in Padmavat and then moved on to designing lehengas for all 3 female leads in Housefull 4. The Bollywood entry merged perfectly with brides transforming choices to give them the national recognition they deserved.
We, personally, are full of admiration and awe for the designer duo. Whenever we spot a bride who is dripping with royalty and has a unique style to her lehenga, we know she is a RAH bride. That’s actually one of our favorite things about the designer. They are quite open to customisation and giving each bride a lehenga that will suit their style and comfort level.
That’s the sole reason why one of their brides, Gurpreet, chose them over all the other high-end designers. Here’s what she had to say about shopping at Rimple & Harpreet store.
“I wanted my wedding look to be timeless and I wanted to wear Rose pink. I wanted to wear an outfit that was a mix of traditional and modern work. I did my bridal wedding dress shopping from Mehrauli Delhi. Almost all designer brands have their flagship stores here and you get to see so many beautiful designs. I started my wedding dress shopping by visiting the Sabyasachi store, however, the dresses I liked were not available in my color choice and they don’t do any customization. So I visited the other designers like Anita Dongre, Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahilini, Falguni, and Shane and then I finally entered the Rimple and Harpreet Narula store where I found my wedding outfit. I really liked the work on the outfit and the designers customized a few of the elements to personalize the outfit to my needs. I changed the blouse of the outfit and the color of the outfit. As I live in Sydney, all the discussion and planning of the outfit happening via WhatsApp and FaceTime. They sent me swatches of the outfits and I was super happy with my final outfit.” shared Gurpreet. Starting off with the price of her outfit:
