The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Alia Bhatt shared the first pictures of her & beau Ranbir Kapoor’s nuptials and we’re awestruck by the love, warmth, and allure of the images. As reported by us earlier, the bride & groom did wear Sabyasachi clothing for the occasion. Alia, being the quintessential millennial bride, didn’t opt for red though. The gorgeous bride picked a warm ivory color for her special day and Ranbir complemented his bride in the same hue. Taking to Instagram, Alia Bhatt released 8 pictures from her sundowner ceremony starting with a kiss she shares with her husband, then to her pheras, which includes the indoor moment, followed by some couple portraits, and an endearing image at the end showcasing the duo holding hands.
Alia’s Ivory Lehenga Is Paired With Heavy Jewelry Pieces
Alia opted for a pristine ivory saree for her big day. The saree is hand-dyed organza embroidered with one tilla work and an embroidered handwoven tissue veil. To complement her ethereal saree, Bhatt paired the attire with Sabyasachi heritage jewelry encrusted with uncut diamonds and pearls. Dominated by ivory, she did include some touches of red in her bridal look, which includes a red bindi and red choora bangles in the middle of her chunky polki bangles. She also went for a very minimal mehendi design complementing the general theme of her wedding – minimal yet aesthetic. The groom, on the other hand, wore an embroidered silk sherwani with Sabyasachi uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa, and a shawl with zari marori embroidery. He also wore Kilangi featuring uncut diamonds, emeralds, and pearls.
Alia captioned the picture, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favorite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.
With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights, and Chinese bites.

While it was earlier reported that the couple will have a reception at Taj Colaba, it’s now being reported that the couple will not have a reception due to excessive media attention. Although, nothing has been confirmed yet!
