Sabyasachi’s Royal Bengal Mangalsutra, priced at Rs.1,98,500, bridges the gap between the millennial and the traditional hearts of Indian brides. In 2020, the cost of the Royal Bengal Mangalsutra was Rs.1,95,000/-, the design was upgraded in early 2021, and the price increased to Rs.1,98,500/-. However, for the wedding seasons, winter 2021 and spring/ summer 2022 , Sabyasachi further upgraded the Royal Bengal Mangalsutra and termed it as “The Royal Bengal Mangalsutra 1.2”. Just like in the previous scenarios, he revealed the price in the social media caption as Rs.1,98,000/-.

In late October 2021, Sabyasachi launched the intimate fine jewelry collection featuring minimal designs to revel in everyday luxury. The new line consists of earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets, and one of the necklaces is the Sabyasachi Royal Bengal Mangalsutra 2.0. The mangalsutra has three designs this time around. Two of them feature a separate circular hanging with Sabyasachi’s logo and are available with black and coral pearls. One of them only has a Bengal tiger engraving and is a perfect pick for the millennial brides who want to wear this traditional jewelry piece on a regular basis.
